This is the most recommended tour of northern Pakistan for those who can afford long vacation. The northern part of Pakistan is where three major mountain ranges, the Karakoram, the Himalayas, and the Hindu Kush, meet and offer spectacular mountain scenery. This route starts with the world's 9th highest peak Nanga Parbat (8,126m) on the Skardu side. "The sky garden"- Deosai Plateau, and the Sarfranga Cold Desert, then moves to Hunza & Upper Hunza, the foot of the Hindu Kush range over Shandur Pass. You will witness the highest peak of the Hindu Kush - Tirich Mir (7,708m) and visit the beautiful Kalasha valley, home of the Kalash people.

*This 13-day itinerary is a compact tour of the northern part of the country. You can also extend your stay in each region at a more leisurely pace.
*The crossing of the Deosai Plateau and the Shandur Pass are seasonal, from mid-June to early October, as it depends on snowfall.
*The highest overnight altitude is 4,200 meters on the Deosai Plateau, and those who are not comfortable with heights are advised to stay in Skardu. Also, the highest altitude reached on this route is 4,700m at Khunjerab Pass.
*It is possible to take a domestic flight to Skardu on day01.
