The Baltoro Glacier Trek is one of the most popular treks in Pakistan, and Concordia is the place where you can see K2 with 7,000-8,000 Peaks around. We can arrange expeditions to Broad Peak Base Camp, K2 Base Camp, Gasherbrum Base Camp, and over the Gondogoro La Pass.

Itinerary

01

Fly from Islamabad to Skardu. After arrival, hiking at Hussainabad viewpoint. You will also get a trekking permit.

(※In case of flight cancellation, travel overland to Chilas to spend a night and arrive in Skardu in the afternoon of the second day.)

Full day visit of Deosai National Park (average elevation 4,200m) considering altitude acclimatization.

Drive from Skardu to Askole by 4WD.

Start Trekking from Askole or Korafon to Jhola.

（※Construction work of roadway from Askole to Paiju is underway, but due to bridge collapse occurred in early July 2022, trekking will basically be from Askole or Korafon.）

Trek from Jhola to Paiju (3,450m) .

Trek from Paju (3,450m) to Khuburtse (3,940m). Ascend to Baltoro Glacier and Khoburtse with a view of the Trango Tower peaks.

Trek from Khoburtse (3,940m) to Urdukas (4,050m). On the way to Urdukas, the 8,000m Broad Peak and the Gasherbrum Mountains will be visible.

Trek from Urdukas (4,050m) to Gore II (4,380m). Hike among the spectacular scenery of Masherbrum (KⅠ) and other 6,000m to 8,000m peaks.

Trek from Gore II (4,380m) to Concordia (4,650m) . With a view of Muztagh Tower, you will reach Concordia (4,650m), the core of the Karakoram 360 degree surrounded by high peaks. Here you will have your first view of K2.

Stay in Concordia for the whole day and explore the area. Enjoy the great view of K2 and other 7,000m to 8,000m peaks.

Stay in Concordia (Spare day).

Trek from Concordia to Gore I.

Trek from Gore I to Khoburtse.

Trek from Khoburtse to Paiju.

Trek from Paiju to Jhola.

Trek from Jhola to Korafon/Askole.

Drive back to Skardu by 4WD.

Fly to Islamabad.
※In case of flight cancellation, you will be transferred by road (overnight in Chilas or Besham) and arrive to Islamabad in the next day.

Best time to visit
June – October

Itinerary
Domestic flights between Islamabad and Skardu is mountain flight and it will be cancelled in case of bad weather conditions. On day18, if flight is cancelled, you will return to Islamabad by road with overnight at Chilas. Please plan in advance with an extra day. Travel from Skardu to Askole is on rough roads, and in the event of a landslide, some sections may have to be done on foot. Expeditions to Broad Peak Base Camp, K2 Base Camp, Gasherbrum Base Camp, and over Gondogolola Pass can be arranged. Please be sure that you have travel insurance.

Please contact us. We will provide you quotation based on the number of participants, your preferred hotel rank, and the services you require (luggage weight, use of a generator during trek, personal porter, etc.).

Others
The highest altitude and highest point reached is 4,650m at Concordia, The itinerary is designed to raise the altitude slowly to allow smooth altitude acclimatization. We can arrange oxygen cylinder, puls oximeter and portable hyperbaric chamber on request.
